Acupuncture is a great tool to treat, but it's even better to prevent! You don't have to wait until something is wrong! Acupuncture helps to keep the body in balance and in the world we live in today - we are all in need of constant balancing!
During an acupuncture treatment, thin needles will be inserted into specific points on the body. These needles will remain in place for 10-30 minutes, during which time the patient may experience a variety of sensations including tingling, warmth, aching, or heaviness. The patient may also experience a sense of relaxation and relief from pain or discomfort.
Great question!
I've been asked to speak at birthdays or events on alternative medicine!
Depends on the group/event on how long the talks are and it depends on the group what the topic is! Fun talks I've done are what's your constitution (water, earth, fire, metal, wood) or what's your Ayurvedic dosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). These constitution talks are great because you can understand your personality better and what foods benefit you overall! To know more about the workshops please send an email!
I've realized that many people are not aware what CLEAN eating looks like! Some think that plant based equals healthy and most times that could not be further from the truth when it comes to processed plant based food items. The shopping experience started with my mother! she would take people around different supermarkets and show them what ingredients to look for and what you definitely did not want to buy and people LOVED these shopping adventures and I am continuing that tradition! We go to the supermarket/s and we first go through the things you usually buy and seek different alternatives and I will point out great things that you should consider buying!
Never forget food is medicine! Bring health into your kitchen and it will resonate into the entire household.
